Radium Girls tells the true story of Grace Fryer and the young women who were employed to paint watch dials by the US Radium Corporation during, and after World War I. Although many dial painters died after being exposed to dangerous amounts of radiation from the glowing radium paint used on the watches, Grace’s story is an inspirational tale of a young woman who, while fighting for her life, raises her voice to fight for justice.
