PVA New Student Orientation

New student orientation is an opportunity for new students and their parent/caregiver(s) to visit the school, meet the teachers in their PVA program(s), and learn more about what to expect from the program of studies and school-year starting in September. It’s a casual and light-hearted meet and greet with some great information. You’ll meet some current students, have time to walk around the school to see our spaces, and feel at home in your new community.

Our fantastic PVA Parent Council (CPVAF) will also be attending each session and letting parent/caregiver(s) know more about how they work to support the program in various ways and encourage parent/caregiver(s) to get involved. For more information on CPVAF please visit www.cpvaf.org

Please only attend the sessions for your PVA Program Placement indicated on the Acceptance/Placement email sent in early April:

Music (Band, Strings, Vocal) 6:15-7:00pm

Visual Arts / Media / Fashion 7:00-7:30pm

Dance 7:30-8:00pm

Theatre Arts / Tech Theatre 8:00-8:45pm

If you are enrolled in one or more PVA Program, please attend both sessions. If you have time between sessions, please tour the school building and chat with our students!

If you are enrolled in a PVA Program and a PVA Intro Course, please only attend the session for the PVA Program – as we do not offer sessions for PVA Intro. Students only enrolled in PVA Intro courses do not need to attendĀ  Orientation Night.

Questions/concerns can be emailed to the PVA/Fine Arts Learning Leader,
